Park Ridge “Noon” Kiwanis Club members will don their chef hats once more when the club will hold its 29th annual homemade SPAGHETTI DINNER at the Park Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1300 W. Crescent Avenue, Park Ridge on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 4:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children six to 12. There is no charge for children under six. A line dance is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows without regard for the gender of the individuals, all facing either each other or in the same direction, and executing the steps at the same time. Sounds too complicated??? It’s not!! Join us for a great time learning the easy way to line dance!

Russian Night at the Orchestra features music of Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev. Joined by students of Maine South’s band and orchestra on the 1812 Overture, the Orchestra also plays Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Overture-Fantasy, and Prokofiev’s 3rd Piano Concerto with keyboard artist Leah Dominy as soloist. The Belly dance is a Western-coined name for a type of Middle Eastern dance. Originally a solo, improvised dance involving torso articulation, belly dance takes many different forms depending on the country and region; both in costume and dance style, and new styles have evolved in the West as its popularity has spread globally. This is a great workout for the body – limbering up the torso, and keeping your whole being balanced. Come and learn the fun techniques of this classic dance.
