If you have CLEAN, gently worn coats that your family is no longer using and would like to help someone in need from our community, please take them to any of the three police departments between October 11, 2013 and November 16, 2013 --- Park Ridge Police Department, Niles Police Department, and Des Plaines Police Department --- the departments are open 24 hours a day. 4 to 7 pm - Friends of the Library Book Sale Preview MEMBERS ONLY (04:00 PM - 07:00 PM)
The Friends' Fall Book Sale will be held Friday through Sunday on the first full weekend in November. ------------ On FRIDAY, the Sale will be open for Friends of the Library members ONLY. Numbers will be given out beginning at 3:00 pm. DOORS OPEN AT 4:00 PM. Memberships to the Friends of the Library may be purchased at the door. Information on Memberships is available at the Library's Circulation Desk.------------ On SUNDAY, from Noon to 2:00 pm, all items will be half-price.
