The Farmer's Market will be held every Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. from May 24 to October 25, 2014 AT: Prairie and Garden, which is at just south of the Metra train tracks and Touhy, and east of Cumberland Avenues.

The group WINGS (Women in Need Growing Stronger) has been selected to be the recipient of the Park Ridge Whole Foods “One Dime At A Time” Program. Bring your own shopping bag to the Park Ridge store October 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014 and when you check out at the register you can donate to WINGS just by using your own bag!

Join the Park Ridge Youth Commission and G4G for the big gear drive and CHANGE THE WORLD. Gently used and new sports items and musical instruments are needed. All donations are eligible for a TAX DEDUCTION based on IRS guidelines. --- Please contact the venue where you intend to drop off the equipment ahead of time to assure they are open at the time you intend to drop off the equipment.
Pumpkin Patch (10/18-10/31/14) - PRCC (09:00 AM - 07:00 PM)
Come enjoy this annual youth event that takes place October 18-31 and is located on the lawn of the Church, on the lawn at the corner of Prospect & Crescent Avenue in the heart of Park Ridge. ---- Hours: weekdays 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. ---- Proceeds from the patch benefit the PRCC Youth Ministry Fund activities and the Navajo tribe that raises all of the items on a farm in New Mexico. Free movie on Friday and Saturday nights weather permitting.

Join us for a fun-filled family event that gets you ready for Halloween. During the evening carve a pumpkin, stuff a scarecrow, jump on a hayride, and enjoy s’mores and apple cider or cocoa around a campfire.
