Annual COPS FOR COATS thru Nov. 12 - Park Ridge, DesPlaines, Niles (07:00 AM - 07:05 AM)
If you have CLEAN, gently worn coats that your family no longer needs and you would like to help someone in need from our community, please take them to any of the three police departments between October 6, 2014 and November 12, 2014 --- The Park Ridge Police Department, Niles Police Department, and Des Plaines Police Department are open 24 hours a day and each will have a collection box in their lobby. The Farmer's Market will be held every Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. from May 24 to October 25, 2014 AT: Prairie and Garden, which is at just south of the Metra train tracks and Touhy, and east of Cumberland Avenues.

The group WINGS (Women in Need Growing Stronger) has been selected to be the recipient of the Park Ridge Whole Foods “One Dime At A Time” Program. Bring your own shopping bag to the Park Ridge store October 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014 and when you check out at the register you can donate to WINGS just by using your own bag!
Pumpkin Patch (10/18-10/31/14) - PRCC (09:00 AM - 07:00 PM)
Come enjoy this annual youth event that takes place October 18-31 and is located on the lawn of the Church, on the lawn at the corner of Prospect & Crescent Avenue in the heart of Park Ridge. ---- Hours: weekdays 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. ---- Proceeds from the patch benefit the PRCC Youth Ministry Fund activities and the Navajo tribe that raises all of the items on a farm in New Mexico. Free movie on Friday and Saturday nights weather permitting.

Park Ridge Community Women challenges YOU to attend our annual fundraiser on October 25, 2014 or make a donation to support the Britt Family, a local family affected by ALS. The PRCW invites you to join them at this Halloween costume party (costumes NOT required) /fundraiser at the Dirty Martini Lounge and have fun while helping the Britt Family.
