Pumpkin Patch (10/18-10/31/14) - PRCC (03:00 PM - 07:00 PM)
Come enjoy this annual youth event that takes place October 18-31 and is located on the lawn of the Church, on the lawn at the corner of Prospect & Crescent Avenue in the heart of Park Ridge. ---- Hours: weekdays 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. ---- Proceeds from the patch benefit the PRCC Youth Ministry Fund activities and the Navajo tribe that raises all of the items on a farm in New Mexico. Free movie on Friday and Saturday nights weather permitting.
Wizarding Games / Costume Parade @ Library (05:00 PM - 06:30 PM)
Visit the Children’s Department to enjoy some wizard-themed games, activities, and stories read aloud. Drop in any time between 5:00-6:30 p.m. Afterwards, join the Park District costume parade from Hodges Park to the Pickwick for the 7:00 p.m. Halloween concert by the Park Ridge Civic Orchestra.
Trunk or Treat 2014 (05:00 PM - 09:00 PM)
Celebrate Halloween with the Park District and the Park Ridge Civic Orchestra (PRCO)! Wear your costume and follow the trick-or-treat trail around Hodges Park, where we’ll pass out treats (or tricks!) from the trunks of our festively decorated cars. It’s a fun and safe event that goes beyond trick or treating with games, a pumpkin contest, music, and a parade!
