The Park Ridge Historical Society Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 18 at 11:30 a.m. at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 North Prospect Avenue. All Park Ridge residents, guests, and friends are cordially invited to attend. Join us for a reception, luncheon and a program featuring Joseph Schwieterman, author of “Terminal Town”. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased by calling 847-696-1973 or www.pennyville.org. Reservations must be received by Wednesday, October 14.

The Park Ridge Art League presents “Continuing the Tradition 3” an art exhibit and sale from September 5th through October 25th at the Iannelli Studios Heritage Center, 255 N. Northwest Hwy, Park Ridge. The exhibition is free and will be open Saturdays 10-3:00 and Sundays 1-4:00. A public reception is scheduled for September 13th to meet the artists from 1-4:00 p.m.

Join walkers from 13 churches and community organizations on Sunday, October 18, 2015 to raise money and walk to fight hunger locally and around the world. ---- 25% of funds raised go directly to the Maine Township Food Pantry --- There is a 3 or a 6 mile loop starting at Park Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1300 W. Crescent Ave. Park Ridge. Registration begins at 1:30pm/walk steps off at 2pm. Walkers who raise $100 or more will receive a Crop Walk 2015 t-shirt.
