Styrofoam Collection (1/3-1/20/17) Park Ridge Public Works (08:00 AM - 04:00 PM)
January 20, 2017 is the LAST DAY Park Ridge Public Works (400 Busse Highway) will be collecting WHITE block styrofoam to be recycled. Drop it off between 7am and 3pm and help reduce our community's carbon footprint and keep styrofoam out of landfills. Styrofoam takes 20,000 years to biodegrade. Sorry NO food/beverage containers; NO straws, lids, plastic wrap; NO packing peanuts; NO building insulation/foam of any kind. Questions? Call Mike at 847-318-5243

Don't search for parking when you go to see Park Ridge's annual patriotic, Independence Day fireworks display at Maine East High School July 3 from 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm ------ Register with the Park Ridge Park District for Fireworks Preferred Parking for a fee. --- Bring a picnic (no alcoholic beverages or grills allowed) and relax before the fireworks begin. Enjoy the evening with friends and family. Come early and get a great spot!!
