The 21st Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. Dr. Maria Hrycelak will present a program entitled, “KALO Foundation of Park Ridge”. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow.
Chapter Regent, Carol Gale, is pleased to have Dr. Maria Hrycelak, present a program entitled, "KALO Foundation of Park Ridge". Dr. Hrycelak is a Co-President of the Foundation that was established in 2006. The KALO Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the rich artistic heritage of the city of Park Ridge. A silent auction that includes baked goods will also be held at this meeting.

The Twenty-first Star Chapter serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas.
Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
