21st Star Chapter NSDAR April Meeting 2018

The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at Noon, with a meeting and program to follow. Mr. Philip Mohr, will present the program “You Will Like Des Plaines”. Mr. Mohr is the Senior Curator of the Des Plaines History Center located at 781 Pearson Street in Des Plaines.


The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on
Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m.  A luncheon will be served at Noon, with a meeting and program ("You Will Like Des Plaines") to follow.
 
Chapter Regent, Carol Gale, is pleased to have Mr. Philip Mohr, present a program entitled, "You Will Like Des Plaines". Mr. Mohr is the Senior Curator of the Des Plaines History Center located at 781 Pearson Street in Des Plaines. The History Center is housed in a 1907 brick house built by local hardware merchant, Benjamin F. Kinder. A silent auction that includes baked goods will also be held at this meeting.

The Twenty-first Star Chapter serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas.
 
Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
 
The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
