21st Star Chapter NSDAR December 2018 Meeting

The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Wednesday, December 12, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow.

Chapter Regent, Carol Gale, is pleased to have the Maine South Vocal Jazz Ensemble directed by Mr. Matthew Hanes, present a program entitled "Christmas in Song". This is always a special program. Mr. Hanes is the Director of Choirs at Maine South High School in Park Ridge. His choirs have performed locally, nationally, and internationally. Non-perishable food items will be collected for the Main Township Emergency Food Pantry.

The Twenty-first Star Chapter serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas.
 
Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
 
The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
