Outstanding American History Scholars and Good Citizen winners from the Maine Township High Schools and Niles North and Niles West High Schools will be honored at this meeting.
The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is pleased to have Mr. Michael Shymanski present a program entitled "Town of Pullman." Pullman was a model town developed for the workers of the Pullman Palace Car Company in the 1880’s. Mr. Shymanski is the president of the Historic Pullman Foundation.

Women who are interested in DAR membership should know that any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
