21st Star Chapter NSDAR Meeting - "My Holocaust Survival Story".

The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow.
Chapter Regent, Gail Enault, is pleased to have Mr. Ernst K. Heimann from the Skokie Holocaust Museum present a program entitled, "My Holocaust Survival Story". The Holocaust Museum and Education Center opened on April 19, 2009. It is a culmination of 30 years of hard work by the local Holocaust survivor community. A silent auction that includes baked goods will also be held at this meeting.
The Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas.
Women who are interested in DAR membership should know that any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom"
