Chapter Regent, Carol Gale, is pleased to have Milton Nelson present a program entitled, "Park Ridge: Milestones of History/Park Ridge Military". Mr. Nelson is the Co-Chairman of the Park Ridge Heritage Committee. This is a volunteer position that is appointed by the Mayor. The committee is dedicated to preserving Park Ridge history and educating the residents about it.
The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the Park Ridge Country Club at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at Noon with a meeting and program to follow.
Members are asked to bring non-perishable items for the Des Plaines Food Pantry.

The Twenty-first Star Chapter serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas.
Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
