This drop in workshop is for women who are interested in joining the DAR.
At this workshop, volunteers from the 21st Star Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) lineage research team will show you how to find information from many different sources: military records, cemetery records, census data, immigration forms, church records, marriage licenses, death certificates, school records, and birth certificates.
Please bring along all your records and information. We will have reference books available for your use.

Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership. The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
