21st Star Chapter NSDAR October Meeting 2017

The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. ----- MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO BRING NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS FOR THE DES PLAINES FOOD PANTRY.

The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m.  A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. 

 
Members are asked to bring non-perishable items for the Des Plaines Food Pantry.
 
Chapter Regent, Carol Gale, is pleased to have Penny Kerndt present a program entitled, "Historical Autographs and the Story of their Signers".
 
Ms. Kerndt is a past director of the DAR Good Citizen Award and an active member of the Twenty-first Star Chapter.

The Twenty-first Star Chapter serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas.
 
Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
 
The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
