21st Star Chapter NSDAR Sept. Meeting 2018

The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold their first meeting of the NSDAR year 2018-2019 at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 with a presentation on, “Preserving Our Stories”. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. Location is the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge.

Chapter Regent, Carol Gale, is pleased to have MARY HELFRICH, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution District IV Director, give a presentation entitled, "Preserving Our Stories". Mary is a past Vice Regent and Regent of the Eli Skinner Chapter. At the State level, she served as the State Chairman of Americanism, as well as on the DAR School and Conservation Committees.

The Twenty-first Star Chapter serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas.
 
Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
 
The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
