21st Star Chapter NSDAR September Meeting 2016

The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. Members are asked to bring non-perishable items for the Park Ridge Food Pantry. Hostesses for the day are: Joy Martin, Nancy Meyer, Mary Seaman, and Gene Andersen, Chairman.
Chapter Regent, Gail Enault, is pleased to have award winning artist Sharon Hoogstraten present a program entitled, "Potawatomi: Dancing with My Tribe". Sharon has a B.S. in photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a M.F.A. in graphic design from the University of Illinois. She began taking Potawatomi formal pictures in 2010.
A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. Hostesses for the day are: Joy Martin, Nancy Meyer, Mary Seaman, and Gene Andersen, Chairman.

The Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas.
Women who are interested in DAR membership should know that any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom"
