Come join the American Society of Artists for their 22nd annual Arts & Crafts Fair, offering original art and handcrafted items for sale.
Artists & craftsartists will fill Hodges Park with work they have personally created – paintings, glassworks, photography, pottery, woodworking, fabric crafts, jewelry and more. This juried show will fill Hodges Park (located at) Prospect & Vine. Exhibitors will be located alongside the sidewalks which wind around Hodges Park.
Come join the American Society of Artists for their 22nd annual Arts & Crafts Fair, offering original art and handcrafted items for sale Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Juried show with work on display by the artists and crafts artists who created it - show includes both members and non-members of the "American Society of Artists". Artists and crafts artists - both area artists and those from throughout the Midwest, will exhibit an enticing variety of work. Colorful watercolor paintings, beautiful glass works, nature photography creative art wear for children and adults, "green" artworks, hand-crafted jewelry created in a variety of mediums from stone to antique buttons to silver and much more, beautiful woodworking, hand-pulled silk screen cards, wood and stone sculpture, whimsical woodcarvings and even garden sculpture plus much more.
Watch "Art In Action" as some of the exhibitors work/demonstrate at various times during the show including former Park Ridge resident Michele Nichele who will work on her beautiful jewelry and current Park Ridge resident Robert Kelliher will work on his unique glass antique oil lamps which have been converted to electric. Others will be working on woodcarvings, watercolors and more. All the exhibitors will be happy to discuss their work with you!
