Adult Vacation Bible School - St. Luke's Lutheran Church

All adults are welcome to attend up to five evening sessions at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, focusing on Standing Strong in God. Sessions will highlight God's love, prayer, the Bible, and more. $5 suggested donation per evening. Come to one, some or all the sessions.
All are welcome to attend ADULT VBS (Vacation Bible School). This is collaboration between St. Luke's Lutheran and First United Methodist Churches and will be held AT St. Luke’s from Sunday, July 14 through Thursday, July 18 from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m.
The theme is Kingdom Rock! Standing Strong in God. Each evening will begin with fellowship and singing. Sessions are as follows: ·
- Sunday - Pastor Rich Darr, First United Methodist Church - God's love helps us stay strong.
- Monday – Vicki Loisi - Faith and the Global Soul – learning about other faiths and cultures strengthens our faith.
- Tuesday – Phil Jackson of Contemplative Outreach of Chicago - Centering Prayer - Prayer helps us stay strong.
- Wednesday – Pastor Larry Lutey, St. Luke's Lutheran Church - Trusting God helps us stay strong.
- Thursday – Decorate candles - “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet.” The Bible helps us stay strong.
Come to one, some or all of the evening sessions. A $5 donation per evening is suggested.

(St. Luke’s and First United Methodist Church in Park Ridge will also co-sponsor this summer’s Vacation Bible School, for children 3 years through 5th grade Sunday, July 14 – Thursday, July 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.)
