Albert was an impressionist and muralist. He painted the murals in the Illinois Supreme Court Building and was named Illinois State Historical Artist. He was also the most decorated American painter at the French Academy. Albert taught at both the Art Institute and Armour Institute of Chicago. Dulah Evans Krehbiel was a painter, graphic designer, printmaker and photographer. She created illustrations for Harper's Bazaar and many other magazines. In 1910 she established The Ridge Crafts, in Park Ridge, which produced illustrated greeting cards. See the interesting website for Albert Krehbiel here.
