Senator John G. Mulroe (D-10) will be holding various opportunities throughout the district over the course of the next few months to meet with his constituents. His first stop for the year will be in Park Ridge on Monday, March 31 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Park Ridge Public Library.

A spring series about world religions will kick off Monday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. at The Summit of Uptown when Bill Helmuth presents “Buddhism around the World.” ---- Other programs will include Hinduism on Monday, March 3, Islam on Tuesday, April 1, and Judaism on Friday, May 2. There is no charge the programs, but reservations are required.

The Park Ridge Chorale will be presenting its annual Spring Concert featuring classic choral music. The concert will take place AT St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Park Ridge at 7:00 p.m.

General meetings of the Park Ridge Garden Club are held at the Park Ridge Senior Center on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE in the Park Ridge Senior Center. Bullying and Social Conflict: Prevention, Intervention, and Reconciliation, a free workshop, will be presented by Carrie Goldman, an expert in the field of bullying, Thursday, April 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Maine Township Town Hall, 1700 Ballard Road, Park Ridge. The workshop is part of a spring series of programs organized by Maine Township’s MaineStay Youth & Family Services.

Conor Williams, Pat Hennelly and Steve Nowotarski (Class of 2014) have teamed up with the Notre Dame College Prep Student Council and the Muscular Dystrophy Association for the inaugural “Project Muscle” 5K ---- Sunday, April 27, 2014. The money raised from this event will help send local children with muscular dystrophy to MDA's annual summer camp.
