The Niles All American Speakers are charter members of Toastmasters International, a club devoted to the refinement of speech, our mission is to make better speakers of everyone.

The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. Hostesses for the day are: Alice Connors, Rhonda Lang, Joyce Pence, and Gene Andersen, Chairman.

The purpose of this group is to encourage members to write and provide a safe place to read one’s work and get some feedback. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.

The Seven Last Words of Christ by F. J. Haydn will be performed by the Montag Ensemble as part of an ecumenical Good Friday service on Friday, April 14, at 12:00 noon. Short reflections that enhance each of Christ's 'words' will be given by a variety of clergy from the area.
