Come out for Cruisin' Park Ridge, the car shows in Park Ridge on the First Fridays of June, July, August, and September! Hosted by the Park Ridge Chamber, held in the library lot and on Summit Ave. between Touhy and Prospect. Fun for the whole family! Join the Park Ridge Park District at Hodges Park for a great night of music with family and friends! This week features Tino & The Latin Swing Factor, an energetic Latin band that heats up the dance floor with salsa, cumbia, and merengue music. ---Enjoy free salsa lessons from 7:15pm-8:00pm.

Enjoy a day of good old fashioned kite flying and picnicking with family and friends. Watch fantastic kite flying demonstrations from Chicago Kite Company along with a DJ, concessions, inflatables, and games. Chicago Kite Company will have kites for sale throughout the entire day. 2nd Annual Vine St BBQ Competition & Fest in Hodges Park! BBQ Competition to raise money for local charities combined with great food, music and family fun! The Vine Street BBQ Competition will take place on Saturday, August 18, 2018.

It’s a SIT-in DRIVE-in! Remember what great fun it was to pile everyone in the car and head out to a drive-in movie? Well, it’s back...kind of! It’s a screen, it’s in a park, it's movies you love, and it’s TOTALLY fun! 7:00pm-8:30pm: Face painting, concessions, and family activities! Movies start at dusk.

Park Ridge Historical Society's Bike Tour of Catalog Homes --- The bike tour will highlight a number of “Sears houses” along with a few other noteworthy houses. The route is about one mile long and will last about 90 minutes while riding at a leisurely pace. The tour will stop at each home to hear a description. - $10 per person donation suggested. Space is limited to 20. Pre-Reservation required.
