Go Green Park Ridge’s “Every Day is Earth Day” Clean-Up Event

01:00 PM - 03:30 PM

Autumn_Leaves

Dam No. 4 Woods (across from Maine South)
Park Ridge, IL , 60068

Join us to help clean up our little piece of Earth! For the third time this year, we are heading out into our local Park Ridge forest preserves and local woodlands to clean up litter, trash, and other manmade detritus that has built up over the past decades.

Individuals or families, please meet at Dam No. 4 Woods (across from Maine South) at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 16. Bring work gloves, enthusiasm, and a smile.

Organizational leaders and school groups, please contact the Event Coordinator Joseph Steinfels at jpsteinfels@yahoo.com for zone coordination & assignment.

After the event concludes (at about 3:30pm or so), Go Green Park Ridge invites you to come by
at the Dam No 4 Woods picnic tables (off of Dee just across from Maine South) for a sustainably-minded get-together, complete with hot dogs and brats, sides, and (most importantly) cold, refreshing beverages.

Come meet others in the community who care enough to come out and clean up the world. While donations to cover the food costs are certainly welcome, we’re really doing this because we want to continue to foster the sense of community that makes Park Ridge…a Wonderful Place. See you there!
