Extra boxes are available for sale while they last on December 6 in front of the Park Ridge Library!
 
Listed below are a sampling of the organizations supported by Park Ridge Rotary and Citrus Sales:
  • Established Rotary Interact Club at Maine East High School- 2nd largest club at Maine East with 70 members
  • Awarded "Make a Difference" Scholarships to students in the Park Ridge - Maine Township area
  • Rotary Youth Leadership Awards - offering seminars, conferences and camps to develop and recognize good citizenship and leadership
  • Funded a multi-lingual Welcome Mural at Maine East celebrating diversity of students
  • Funded Sunday Suppers at St. Paul of the Cross Church
  • Provided exercise equipment to Friedman Place in Chicago- a facility for the visually impaired
  • Provided funding to DECA Business Club at Maine East- funding national competitions and judging
  • Supported and funded Maine South Heart Screening
  • Supported the Rainbow Hospice Art Sculpture Project, "Promises Take Flight: A Public Art Collaboration"
  • Dedicated funds to establish a Health Imaging System for Radiology (WHIS-RAD) x-ray unit in Nepal and spearheading this initiative throughout Rotary International
  • Funded Shelter Boxes around the country for Disaster Relief, including Hurricane Sandy and Katrina victims
Citrus Sale Order Information
Pre-Order Options:
  • Online at www.parkridgerotary.com- click on the Citrus Sale icon.
  • Order forms must be completed and placed by November 17,2014.
  • Give the attached form (bottom of this page)  to any Rotary Member or contact G. Mountcastle by phone at (847) 692-3442 or by email at gmountcastle@prparks.org.
  • Fruit baskets, not cartons, can be shipped directly to addresses outside of the Park Ridge area by going online and clicking on the "Send Citrus as a Gift" link.
  • Full payment is required with the placement of your order.

Number of Mixed Cartons of Oranges and Grapefruits @ $30/carton (20 lb. cartons)
Full payment is required with placement of your order.
 
Please make checks payable to: Park Ridge Rotary Foundation, P.O. Box 130 Park Ridge, IL 60068.
Cash and checks can be used for in-person orders, credit cards online.
 
On the form, you will need to let us know your preference for receiving your fruit:
  • Pick up my fruit at the Park Ridge Public Works Building, 400 Busse Highway, on December 6 between 9:00am-Noon. Pull in the lot and Rotary Members will be on hand to put the fruit in your vehicle.
  • Arrange for a Rotary Member to drop fruit off at my home and/or Park Ridge area business. We will deliver fruit to Park Ridge, Des Plaines, and Niles for a $10 donation (day of) to the Polio Plus Fund - which goes toward a worldwide immunization program to eradicate polio.
