The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow.
Chapter Regent, Gail Enault, is pleased to have Cathy Carlton, DAR National Vice-Chairman Commemorative Events Committee, 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment present a program entitled, "The 19th Amendment". Cathy is the Illinois Society Daughters of the American Revolution State Organizing Secretary and was the Organizing Regent of the Fox River Valley Chapter.
The Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas. Women who are interested in DAR membership should know that any woman eighteen years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership. The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
