The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow.
Chapter Regent, Carol Gale, is pleased to have Barrie Shinn, Chapter Insignia Chairman, present a program entitled, "DAR 101". Barrie is a former Regent of the Twenty-first Star Chapter. In addition, she has held many positions in the NSDAR at the state and national level.
The Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas. Women who are interested in NSDAR membership should know that any woman eighteen years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
