The Park Ridge Public Library will be closing early today in observance of the holiday.

Bring a picnic (no alcoholic beverages nor grills allowed) and relax before the fireworks begin. Enjoy the evening catching up with friends and family. Join the Park District’s party staff and DJ for an Interactive Dance Party at 6:30pm. Live Music Entertainment begins at 8pm. Arrive early and get a great spot! Fireworks begin at dusk in the field at Maine East High School, Park Ridge, IL

The purpose of this group is to encourage members to write and provide a safe place to read one’s work and get some feedback. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.

Join the Park Ridge Chamber for our Monthly Networking Luncheon. The Monthly Networking Luncheon is always the 2nd Wednesday of the month and the speaker always changes. The location is usually 720 Garden, but can change. To ensure the peace of mind of Library staff and patrons, the Park Ridge Library will be closed July 18 for asbestos abatement in a small staff area. Staff will be attending training sessions off-site. ----- The book drops will be open.

The Park Ridge Youth Commission and Park Ridge Park District are hosting a Sand Volleyball Tournament! Enjoy casual competition, a live DJ, pizza, and water. Teams will be divided into two divisions - middle school and high school.

Enjoy a day down on the farm! Pet cows, chickens, goats, and more in the petting zoo featuring over 20 animals. Head out on a 50¢ hayride through Wildwood and hop on a pony ($5/ride). Have a rootin’ tootin’ good time with bingo, pig races, games, activities, and crafts.

All are welcome to attend a program of readings, prayers, and hymns/songs from many times and places that explore and celebrate the richness of the Church Year. Freewill offering at the door.

Join the Park Ridge Park District at Hodges Park for a great night of music with family and friends! This week features Tino & The Latin Swing Factor, an energetic Latin band that heats up the dance floor with salsa, cumbia, and merengue music. ---Enjoy free salsa lessons from 7:15pm-8:00pm.
