The Farmer's Market will be held every Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. from May 26 to October 27, 2012 AT: Prairie and Garden, which is at just south of the Metra train tracks and Touhy, and east of Cumberland Avenues.

Park Ridge Police Host 8th National Night Out on Tuesday August 7 in Hodges Park -- Come for a free, fun-filled evening complete with crime prevention informational booths, children’s games and activities including a petting zoo, dunk-a-cop, donut eating contest, train rides or just dance the night away with our DJ. National Night Out is sponsored by the Park Ridge Police Department.

The mission of the Elementary Learning Foundation (ELF) is to expand and enrich lifelong learning opportunities for all students in the Park Ridge-Niles Community Consolidated School District 64.

Guests and new members are always welcome at our programs, which are held on the third Friday of the month (except December and January) at South Park Field House located at Talcott and Cumberland. See our website under "Programs" for details about our scheduled presenters and special events.

Participating Charter Fitness locations will be hosting a fitness challenge to help raise money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Runs from August 6 through September 28, 2012.

The Shakespeare Project of Chicago will present "50-Minute Romeo and Juliet" at the Park Ridge Public Library. A discussion with actors and audience follows the performance. Pre-registration is required.
