    Community members of all ages are invited to learn more about the life and times of the men and women who helped shape the development of Park Ridge, including early settlers, former mayors and businessmen, soldiers, teachers and even a professional baseball player. Local actors will portray the “Spirits”,and bring to life their individual stories and contributions to Park Ridge history. Tour guides will accompany the groups to the various gravesites, providing additional history and anecdotes.

Greenwood Ave. in Park Ridge. --- This event provides a unique opportunity to meet and greet fire personnel, investigate fire apparatus, and children can learn the fundamentals of fire safety at the Fire Safety House. ----- Come enjoy this fun family event!!

    St. Luke’s will host "Active Parenting for Teens" for parents of 12-17 year olds, on 6 Mondays, Sept. 15-Oct. 27 (excluding Oct. 13) from 7:00-9:00 PM. The classes are led by Pastor Larry Lutey, who is trained and certified in leading Active Parenting Workshops. Call the church office at 847-825-6659, or stop in to register. Enrollment for each workshop is limited. The course is open to moms, dads, single parents and grandparents. Childcare is provided for a nominal fee.

All donations are eligible for a TAX DEDUCTION based on IRS guidelines. --- Please contact the venue where you intend to drop off the equipment ahead of time to assure they are open at the time you intend to drop off the equipment.

    Come enjoy this annual youth event that takes place October 18-31 and is located on the lawn of the Church, on the lawn at the corner of Prospect & Crescent Avenue in the heart of Park Ridge. ---- Hours: weekdays 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. ---- Proceeds from the patch benefit the PRCC Youth Ministry Fund activities and the Navajo tribe that raises all of the items on a farm in New Mexico. Free movie on Friday and Saturday nights weather permitting.
