The Farmer's Market will be held every Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. from May 26 to October 27, 2012 AT: Prairie and Garden, which is at just south of the Metra train tracks and Touhy, and east of Cumberland Avenues.

The Park Ridge Newcomers Club is sponsoring its semi-annual (every Spring and Fall) Kids Sale Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm in the St. Andrew's Lutheran Church Gymnasium. SELLERS WANTED – Turn your fall cleaning into some quick cash! DEADLINE TO REGISTER TO SELL at this Sale is Monday, September 24, 2012 unless the maximum number of sellers is reached sooner.

First Fridays: Dog Days of Summer was canceled due to the rainy forecast for this evening. Pizzafest will go on, rain or shine. This was the last First Fridays event planned for 2012. They will return in May 2013.

Participating Charter Fitness locations will be hosting a fitness challenge to help raise money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Runs from August 6 through September 28, 2012.

Come join the American Society of Artists for their 22nd annual Arts & Crafts Fair, offering original art and handcrafted items for sale. Artists & craftsartists will fill Hodges Park with work they have personally created – paintings, glassworks, photography, pottery, woodworking, fabric crafts, jewelry and more. This juried show will fill Hodges Park (located at) Prospect & Vine. Exhibitors will be located alongside the sidewalks which wind around Hodges Park.

The mission of the Elementary Learning Foundation (ELF) is to expand and enrich lifelong learning opportunities for all students in the Park Ridge-Niles Community Consolidated School District 64.
