Please join us at this property tax seminar at the Park Ridge Public Library, sponsored by Illinois Senator Laura Murphy. You will learn how to appeal your property tax bill with the county. Residents of Maine Township should bring their property tax bill, paperwork from any appraisal performed in the past 18 months and a closing statement if the house was purchased within the last year. --- ((This is not a Library-run event.))
Per the Maine Township website: "In May, 2019, Maine Township residents will receive a reassessment notice from the Cook County Assessor. Once these notices are received, residents will have approximately 30 days after the release of the letter to file an appeal. The deadline date to appeal will be posted on the Triennial Reassessment Notice."
