The 10th annual MaineStreamers "Swing into Spring" Senior Expo will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 9 AM to 2 PM at the Golf Mill Shopping Center in Niles.
The MaineStreamers "Swing into Spring" Senior Expo is designed to link seniors who need services with vendors who provide them, the Swing into Spring Senior Expo has grown in attendance for four straight years and may continue the trend in 2016.
This year the variety of exhibits has been expanded, new programming and entertainment will be provided, and Expo staff is preparing to host an enthusiastic and record crowd of approximately 2,000 visitors 55 years old up who are interested in a wide variety of products and services.
Enjoy a A Tribute to Roy Orbison - Randy Walker will perform hits from this great Rock ‘n’ Roll vocalist at 1:00.
Sponsors to date include Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Journal & Topics newspapers, Senior News 50 and Better, and Suburban Resource Guide for Seniors. Many Illinois state, Cook County and regional agencies such as the RTA, State Treasurer, and others.
Approximately 50 commercial exhibitors expected to be on hand; featuring displays from senior housing, health, financial services, and other providers of products and services that benefit older Americans. Also, Maine Township's Highway Department, Clerk's Office, Assessor's Office, General Assistance, MaineStay Youth & Family Services and, of course, the MaineStreamers will be exhibiting. The Expo promises to be a fun and beneficial event for all who attend.
Last year's event was a huge success, with approximately 1,800 seniors attending to take advantage of health screenings, raffles, entertainment, exhibits and informative presentations.
The proven partnership between the MaineStreamers and Golf Mill promises to make the 2016 event the best yet.
