A member of Illinois State Senator Laura Murphy's office will be at the Library from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today. They will be situated in a study room on the 2nd floor. A member of this office is usually at the Park Ridge Public Library on the fourth Thursday of the following months to meet with constituents: Feb., March, May, June, Aug., Sept., Nov., & Dec.. Occasionally, Senator Murphy will be in attendance to answer constituent’s questions. Please phone ahead.

Mix and mingle with other young professionals over appetizers and refreshing beverages on the 4th Thursday of every month except holidays.

Park Ridge Toastmasters meets at the First United Methodist Church in Park Ridge on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month from 7:30 to 9:30 pm EXCEPT during November and December. School District 64 offers monthly free developmental screenings for children age 2yrs 9mos through 5yrs 11mos who live in the School District 64 community.

The purpose of this group is to encourage members to write and provide a safe place to read one’s work and get some feedback. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.

The 21st Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. General meetings of the Park Ridge Garden Club are held at the Centennial Activity Center (formerly named the Park Ridge Senior Center) on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE. There are NO meetings in July or August. Meetings include a short business session, followed by guest speakers, refreshments and socializing, and conclude between 9:00-10:00 pm

Green Drinks is a monthly networking experience that welcomes like-minded people in Park Ridge into a social experience to discuss green topics and goals for our town! Mark Soderquist, administrative pastor of Westlawn Gospel Chapel on the west side of Chicago, will be the speaker at the 54th Annual Park Ridge Men’s Prayer Breakfast Saturday, April 6, at 7:30 a.m. at the Park Ridge Country Club.
