MCYAF benefit dinner for the prevention of teen drug and alcohol use. Come celebrate our Community Heroes on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Café la Cave in Des Plaines – Tickets available online through September 20. A delicious dinner, silent auction, and comedy entertainment by Derick Lengwenus will make for a delightful evening. Maine Community Youth Assistance Foundation (MCYAF) is pleased to announce its 2017 Community Heroes who will be honored at the Community Heroes Benefit Dinner Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Café la Cave at 2777 S. Mannheim Road, in Des Plaines.
The 2017 Community Heroes ARE: Marty Cook, Cindy Coggin, Ray Imig, Danny McGovern, Katie Parker, William Pelarenos, Andrea Rey, Jill Smith Carolyn Uhlig, and the Niles Park District, who will be honored at the dinner for their community volunteerism and leadership in the Maine Township Community.
Awardees are nominated by members of the community and confirmed by the MCYAF Board of Directors for their contributions and demonstration of extreme commitment to keeping teens healthy and safe and away from the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.
There will be a silent auction, a cash bar, a delicious Cafe la Cave dinner, and comedy entertainment by Derick Lengwenus will make for a delightful evening.
