Honor those who have served our nation. Come watch the Memorial Day Parade co-sponsored by Park Ridge Chamber and the Park Ridge American Legion and V.F.W. Post 3579. --- THE PARADE STEPS OFF AT 10:00 AM at Talcott & Cumberland at AND WILL END AT Hodges Park (505 Butler Place, Park Ridge IL). Parade Route: Talcott/Cumberland north to Prairie, to Main, to Park Ridge City Hall, 505 Butler Place, Park Ridge IL
Honor those who have served our nation and join the Park Ridge Chamber for the traditional Memorial Day Parade coordinated by the Park Ridge American Legion and V.F.W. Post 3579 .
THE PARADE STEPS OFF AT 10:00 AM at Talcott & Cumberland at AND WILL conclude in Uptown Park Ridge AT Hodges Park Parade Route: Talcott & Cumberland north to Prairie, to Main, to Hodges Park across from Park Ridge City Hall, 505 Butler Place, Park Ridge, IL
Among the new units in the parade will be the Park Ridge (World War I) Centennial Commission. This is a group of volunteers who worked on the Spirit of ’45 celebration in 2015 for the end of World War II.
ALL organizations and vehicles participating with and marching with the Park Ridge Chamber must be at the assembly area #47 BY 9:30 am. Line up on South Side of Talcott Road east of Fairview Avenue-- You must be in place by 9:45 am.
Parade steps off/starts promptly at 10:00 am.

Non-profit Chamber member: If you are a nonprofit Chamber member and would like to march with the Chamber there is no charge, but your name will not be announced. Nonprofits who want to be announced are free and should contact John Prochaska (847) 825-3292 directly for their own spot if they wish to have their nonprofit name announced.
For-profit Chamber business: For-profit businesses can march behind the Chamber in our numbered spot, but are requested to make a $50 donation to USO. You need to submit a check for $50 payable to the USO and dated May 15, 2018. "Commander Hank Trenkle, of the Mel Tierney Post 247 of the American Legion of Park Ridge, announced planning has begun for the 2018 annual Park Ridge Memorial Day Parade.
The planning committee consists of V.F.W. Post 3579 Commander Ed Collins, Legion representatives including Trenkle, and Past Commander John Prochaska serving as parade chairman; and V.F.W. Post Officer Richard Nichols serving as Chief Parade Marshal.

A commemorative ceremony will take place at the restored American Legion Veterans Monument in Hodges Park immediately following the parade’s conclusion.
Afterwards, veterans will depart for the Town of Maine Cemetery where another memorial ceremony will take place at the Civil War Veterans Monument."
