For the eleventh year now, the Park Ridge Police Department will be holding their annual "National Night Out" event against crime. NNO is designed to:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
- Send the message to criminals that the police and community are working together and are fighting back against crime
National Night Out is celebrated nationwide annually for the past 31 years. This community-building campaign promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. Together, we are making that happen. In addition, it enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Please join us as we give criminals a "Going Away Party." Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm in Hodges Park.
