This networking Luncheon features former Senator Dan Kotowski and his guest Senator Laura Murphy who will give us an update on Springfield and Dan will also tell us about his new position as President & CEO of Child Serv, a nonprofit organization that helps Chicagoland's at-risk children and their families build, achieve and sustain better lives. FEE: $20 for Chamber members Non-members pay $25. There are no cancellations allowed the day of the event. Parking is free.

General meetings of the Park Ridge Garden Club are held at the Centennial Activity Center (formerly named the Park Ridge Senior Center) on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE. There are NO meetings in January, July or August. Meetings include a short business session, followed by guest speakers, refreshments and socializing, and conclude between 9:00-10:00 pm

Blanket of Dreams is an annual event and a labor of love where the entire community is invited to come make blankets for the homeless. Sponsored by the Council of Catholic Women, 2015 marks the 14th annual day-long event. There is no need for a reservation and the event is free and open to sewers and non-sewers alike. Bring 4 yards of fleece and a pair of scissors to cut material. You don't have to know how to sew! Just cut and tie -simple! We'll be in the Mary Seat Clark Ministry Center.
