Park Ridge Art League presents "Continuing the Tradition 3"
The Park Ridge Art League presents "Continuing the Tradition" an art exhibit and sale from September 5th through October 25th at the Iannelli Studios Heritage Center, 255 N. Northwest Hwy, Park Ridge. The exhibition is free and will be open Saturdays 10 am to 3pm and Sundays 1 pm to 4 pm. A public reception is scheduled for September 13th to meet the artists from 1 pm to 4 p.m.
The two month sale replaces the Father’s Day fair that was formally held at Hodges Park. Pieces of art which are purchased can be picked after the show closes.
Featured at this year’s exhibit will be demonstrations by three well-known local artists. Come and see the artists at work. On September 20th Rae Penzin will demonstrate the art of acrylic painting; Sunday, September 27th Norma Simmons will be painting in oils and on October 4th Pat Schuler will share her talent using watercolor.
As part of this exhibition of the arts, the Kalo Foundation will feature a discussion by Victor Muenzer, Music Director and Conductor of the Park Ridge Civic Orchestra on October 18th at 2:00 p.m. He will be speaking about the coming 2015-2016 season.
We thank the Kalo Foundation Studio for co-sponsoring this program.
