All Park Ridge residents, guests, and friends are cordially invited to attend the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Park Ridge Historical Society, Sunday, October 18 at 11:30 a.m.

The guest speaker this year is Joseph Schwieterman, author of "Terminal Town". Professor Schwieterman will provide a fast-moving presentation of the history of the region's railroad terminals, airports and bus depots from 1939 to the current day. He will display many photos in his presentation on behalf of the Society.
The meeting begins with a reception (cash bar) starting at 11:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon at approximately 12:30 p.m. with a short business meeting and speaking program to follow.
The luncheon menu features roasted chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes, tossed salad, wild mushroom risotto and green bean & red bell pepper bundles. For dessert, featured will be a beggar’s purse dessert filled with apples, pears and vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce.
