205 N. Prospect Ave.
St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church welcomes you bring your friendly pet (or a photo of your pet) for a "Blessing of the Animals" service on
Sunday, July 20, 2014
10:00 am to 10:30 am
ON the west lawn of the church, facing Prospect Avenue.
The Animal Blessing is done to commemorate the ministry of St. Francis of Assisi, whose love for all creation was evident in everything he did.
All friendly pets are invited on a leash or in a carrier, or you can bring a picture of your pet to be blessed. Animal companions who have passed away this year will also be remembered.
After the short service, enjoy some lemonade and cookies — and your dog will enjoy a treat as well.
In case of rain, the service will take place in St. Luke's Henderson Hall.
Invite your neighbors and friends!
Please contact the Church with any questions.
