January 20, 2017 is the LAST DAY Park Ridge Public Works (400 Busse Highway) will be collecting WHITE block styrofoam to be recycled. Drop it off between 7am and 3pm and help reduce our community's carbon footprint and keep styrofoam out of landfills. Styrofoam takes 20,000 years to biodegrade. We are "Seniors Together At Recreation". Our mission is to keep active adults healthy, active and having fun! Meet current members, participate in a class, take a tour and find out what we have to offer you!

The purpose of this group is to encourage members to write and provide a safe place to read one’s work and get some feedback. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.

The Humanities Club works to promote understanding through discussion of a variety of important topics and current trends. Come and share your opinions! Contact the Centennial Activity Center at 847-692-3597 for more information. Free to members, non-members pay a $2.00 drop in fee to participate.

It’s a casting call!!! This fun, new group brings storytelling and radio theatre to life! This theatre of imagination where you do not have to memorize scripts, but, rather, get into the full meaning of different plays, and even put on a short play.

General meetings of the Park Ridge Garden Club are held at the Centennial Activity Center (formerly named the Park Ridge Senior Center) on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE. There are NO meetings in January, July or August. Meetings include a short business session, followed by guest speakers, refreshments and socializing, and conclude between 9:00-10:00 pm

The Park Ridge Toastmasters club has been in Park Ridge since June 9, 1949, meeting in the same location at the United Methodist Church, 418 West Touhy. We meet on the first floor and love to have guests visit our club. --- We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from January through October. Due to the Holidays we meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month in November and December.
