January 20, 2017 is the LAST DAY Park Ridge Public Works (400 Busse Highway) will be collecting WHITE block styrofoam to be recycled. Drop it off between 7am and 3pm and help reduce our community's carbon footprint and keep styrofoam out of landfills. Styrofoam takes 20,000 years to biodegrade. The Park Ridge Toastmasters club has been in Park Ridge since June 9, 1949, meeting in the same location at the United Methodist Church, 418 West Touhy. We meet on the first floor and love to have guests visit our club. --- We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from January through October. Due to the Holidays we meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month in November and December.

An ecumenical service of readings and reflections by members of the Park Ridge Ministerial Association, with musical reflections performed by the Montag Ensemble string quartet. Good Friday Noon Service of music and meditation: The Seven Last Words of Christ by Franz Joseph Haydn, presented by The Montag Ensemble (String Quartet). Freewill offering received at the door.
