Kalo is pleased to exhibit both Albert and Dulah artwork. There will be many pieces showing the different periods of their works There will also be posters and books available. Some of their original art will be for sale.

Active Parenting classes for parents of children ages 5-12 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church each Monday from April 7 through May 12 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., led by Pastor Larry Lutey. Childcare available for a nominal fee. Sign up in the church office or call the church at 847-825-6659.

The Niles All American Speakers are charter members of Toastmasters International, a club devoted to the refinement of speech, our mission is to make better speakers of everyone.

The purpose of this group is to encourage members to write and provide a safe place to read one’s work and get some feedback. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.

General meetings of the Park Ridge Garden Club are held at the Park Ridge Senior Center on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE in the Park Ridge Senior Center. (NOTE LOCATION CHANGE: APRIL 2014 meeting will be at the South Park Field House, 833 Talcott Road at Cumberland & Talcott) There are NO meetings in January, July or August. Meetings include a short business session, followed by guest speakers, refreshments and socializing, and conclude between 9:00-10:00 pm

You're invited to a fashion show luncheon at The Summit of Uptown to benefit the Park Ridge Community Fund on Friday, April 11, from 11:30 to 1:30 for $20 per person. Sponsored by The Summit of Uptown and Liberty Bank, there will be raffle prizes, a luncheon and fashions by Belle + Beau, Camp Willow, and Uptown Girlz of Park Ridge. Mark your calendars, folks. It’s that time of year‼! This fun annual fashion show will feature the spring collection of Taylor Marie. The event will feature a full cash bar, raffle prizes, and raffle to benefit the Maine Township food pantry.

Come out and party to the sounds of the 90’s at the Oakton Ice Arena.
