Donate Blood In Honor of Angie Palac /Blood Drive @ Morello Parish Life Center Sunday April 13, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. St. Paul of the Cross Church, Morello Parish Life Center/Gym---- To schedule an appointment, please visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Appointments are preferred; walk-ins welcome after 10:30 a.m. Donors have to be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. BRING PHOTO ID such as a driver's license.

Kalo is pleased to exhibit both Albert and Dulah artwork. There will be many pieces showing the different periods of their works There will also be posters and books available. Some of their original art will be for sale.

The Early Childhood Diagnostic Team at Jefferson School is providing a free developmental screening for children from birth through age 3. The Park Ridge Historical Society and the Summit of Uptown present a free program by author Nicholas Selig, on his book, "Lost Airports of Chicago: Airfields and Airstrips Near the Des Plaines River".

Bullying and Social Conflict: Prevention, Intervention, and Reconciliation, a free workshop, will be presented by Carrie Goldman, an expert in the field of bullying, Thursday, April 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Maine Township Town Hall, 1700 Ballard Road, Park Ridge. The workshop is part of a spring series of programs organized by Maine Township’s MaineStay Youth & Family Services.

The audience will have the opportunity to "experience" a visit with one of America's most honored poets in her own home during this free program.
