January 20, 2017 is the LAST DAY Park Ridge Public Works (400 Busse Highway) will be collecting WHITE block styrofoam to be recycled. Drop it off between 7am and 3pm and help reduce our community's carbon footprint and keep styrofoam out of landfills. Styrofoam takes 20,000 years to biodegrade. Global Volunteers is a 32 year old private, apolitical, nonsectarian, non-profit (501C-3) tax-exempt organization (NGO) in special consultative status with the United Nations and UNICEF. Contribute one, two or three weeks to change a child's life - while also exploring a fascinating new culture! 12-time Global Volunteer, Susan Koralik, will share her inspiring volunteer stories and explain what it's like to travel while serving around the world. --- Reservations required due to limited seating.

Kindermusik Playdates are a one-time themed music class where you as the parent, or another loving caregiver come with your child to do the same laughing and learning that we do in a Kindermusik class as we sing, dance and play instruments!

Miniature Golf, PIt’s time to pull out the bell bottom pants from the closet and join us for the Annual Mini-Golf “What a Gas!” Tournament and Picnic. 60’s Theme. Be there or be square! Enjoy one of the first events of the summer: miniature golf, picnic dinner, entertainment, root beer floats, and raffle prizes. RSVP/ticket required. Rain Date is Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

St. Luke's Lutheran Church at 205 N. Prospect Ave.is hosting Yoga classes every Tuesday eve. at 7:00 p.m. -8:15 p.m. and Thursday mid morning from 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. The instructor is Dawn Christiansen and she is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor. A $5.00 donation per class goes directly to St. Luke's for their debt reduction program. Come and enjoy a nice relaxing class. All are Welcome!

The purpose of this group is to encourage members to write and provide a safe place to read one’s work and get some feedback. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.

The Farmer's Market will be held every Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. from May 28 to October 29, 2016 AT: Prairie and Garden, which is just south of the Metra train tracks and Touhy, and east of Cumberland Avenues.
