The Park Ridge Public Library will be closing early today in observance of the holiday.

The Niles All American Speakers are charter members of Toastmasters International, a club devoted to the refinement of speech, our mission is to make better speakers of everyone.

Annual 4th of July Kiddie Parade sponsored by the "Noon" Kiwanis Club of Park Ridge -- held in/around Hodges Park --- registration beginning at 8:45 a.m. and the parade beginning at 9:15 a.m. ---- Children and parents are encouraged to use their imaginations and decorate themselves, their bikes, wagons, pets, etc. according to the themes.Ribbons will be awarded for your decorations in multiple categories.

Come out for Cruisin' Park Ridge, the car shows in Park Ridge on the First Fridays of June, July, August, and September! Hosted by the Park Ridge Chamber, held in the library lot and on Summit Ave. between Touhy and Prospect. Fun for the whole family! Live entertainment, (music starts playing at 6:00pm) food, beer/wine, bounce house and, of course, cars, cars, cars! Please join us for our Summer 2017 Concerts in the Park - the 57th year that the Park Ridge Fine Arts Symphony (PRFAS) has presented this wonderful summertime musical experience!! Concerts will take place June 17 through July 28.

The Farmer's Market will be held every Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. from May 27 to October 28, 2017 AT: Prairie and Garden, which is at just south of the Metra train tracks and Touhy, and east of Cumberland Avenues. Celebrating its 26th anniversary, the Park Ridge Farmers’ Market features fresh seasonal produce, interesting packaged goods, Sprouts Kids Tent activities and live music.
