Do you find painting or decorating relaxing? Join us at the Centennial Activity Center for our weekly ceramics class. Students work on projects of their choice and level of experience. Class instruction provided by Mickey Currie. Stop in and see what you can do!

The purpose of this group is to encourage members to write and provide a safe place to read one’s work and get some feedback. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.

The Rotary Club of Park Ridge meets Wednesdays at Noon at Summit Square of Park Ridge, 10 North Summit Avenue 847-825-1161 Park Ridge, IL

Wine 101 Class/Outing- Wednesday, August 12, 2:00-3:00pm ---- Meet at Winestyles in Park Ridge (105 S Northwest Hwy, Park Ridge) for a class filled with wine facts and tastings. After the class, and samplings, browse the store for different wines to take home.

This special showing of the movie:“Saving Private Ryan” is a fundraiser for the American Legion WWII Memorial in South Park --- ALL TICKETS ARE $9 --------- Take part in the national and international Spirit of ‘45 weekend of August 14–16, 2015, during which we will honor the legacy of the World War II generation during that pivotal time in world history.

The Humanities Club works to promote understanding through discussion of a variety of important topics and current trends. Come and share your opinions! Contact the Centennial Activity Center at 847-692-3597 for more information. Free to members, non-members pay a $2.00 drop in fee to participate.

The Park Ridge Toastmasters club has been in Park Ridge since June 9, 1949, meeting in the same location at the United Methodist Church, 418 West Touhy. We meet on the first floor and love to have guests visit our club. --- We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from January through October. Due to the Holidays we meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month in November and December.

Please join us for our Summer 2015 Concerts in the Park - the 55th year that the Park Ridge Fine Arts Symphony (PRFAS) has presented this wonderful summertime musical experience!! Concerts will take place June 19 through August 14.
