Do you find painting or decorating relaxing? Join us at the Centennial Activity Center for our weekly ceramics class. Students work on projects of their choice and level of experience. Class instruction provided by Mickey Currie. Stop in and see what you can do!

Summer’s End Food Truck Picnic- Monday, August 24, 12:30-3:30pm Toasty Cheese Food Truck is making a stop at the Centennial Picnic Pavilion just for us. Dine on a variety of different grilled cheese sandwiches, fries, and dessert while enjoying picnic games and a musical performance by Kym Frankovegia.

The Rotary Club of Park Ridge meets Wednesdays at Noon at Summit Square of Park Ridge, 10 North Summit Avenue 847-825-1161 Park Ridge, IL

A member of Illinois State Senator Dan Kotowski's office will be at the Library from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today. They will be situated in the magazine area of the 2nd floor Reference Department.

The Humanities Club works to promote understanding through discussion of a variety of important topics and current trends. Come and share your opinions! Contact the Centennial Activity Center at 847-692-3597 for more information. Free to members, non-members pay a $2.00 drop in fee to participate.

The Park Ridge Toastmasters club has been in Park Ridge since June 9, 1949, meeting in the same location at the United Methodist Church, 418 West Touhy. We meet on the first floor and love to have guests visit our club. --- We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from January through October. Due to the Holidays we meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month in November and December.

The Farmer's Market will be held every Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. from May 23 to October 31, 2015 AT: Prairie and Garden, which is at just south of the Metra train tracks and Touhy, and east of Cumberland Avenues.
