January 20, 2017 is the LAST DAY Park Ridge Public Works (400 Busse Highway) will be collecting WHITE block styrofoam to be recycled. Drop it off between 7am and 3pm and help reduce our community's carbon footprint and keep styrofoam out of landfills. Styrofoam takes 20,000 years to biodegrade. Sorry NO food/beverage containers; NO straws, lids, plastic wrap; NO packing peanuts; NO building insulation/foam of any kind. Questions? Call Mike at 847-318-5243

Park Ridge “Noon” Kiwanis Club members will don their chef hats once more when the club will hold its 29th annual homemade SPAGHETTI DINNER at the Park Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1300 W. Crescent Avenue, Park Ridge on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 4:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children six to 12. There is no charge for children under six. A line dance is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows without regard for the gender of the individuals, all facing either each other or in the same direction, and executing the steps at the same time.
